Mobile Passport Control (MPC) is a free, secure app that allows travelers to expedite the customs process by submitting passport information and customs declarations electronically.
Who is eligible for Mobile Passport Control?
- U.S. citizens & permanent residents
- Canadian visitors
- Returning Visa Waiver Program travelers with an approved ESTA
How to Use Mobile Passport Control:
- Download the App:
Get the official Mobile Passport Control app for iOS or Android.
- Create a Profile:
Enter your passport details, personal information, and trip details.
- Submit Customs Declaration:
Complete the customs form electronically through the app.
- Receive a QR Code:
After submission, the app generates a QR code to present to the Customs and Border Protection officer.
- Go to the MPC Lane:
At the port of entry, follow signs for the Mobile Passport Control lane to present your QR code and passport to the Customs and Border Protection officer.
